    Ancona Ducks

Anyone else have some Ancona Ducks? My school in Brisbane breeds them. We also ship fertile duck eggs around the country. I only know of one unrelated flock in Australia, in WA. Imagine if I knew how to add some photos in this thread. That would be amazing.

Fertile Ancona Duck Eggs - Shipped Express

**Please, no Balut enquiries. No offense intended** My school breeds Ancona Ducks, which are a very rare type of duck. Our breeding flock is back on the lay after Winter and their molt, so I am able to offer fertile eggs for sale once again. We have shipped Ancona eggs to multiple locations...

Looks good pet quality, but not for breeding. A lovely looking duck nonetheless.

    Ancona Ducks

Head looks Ancona-ish; however the back looks almost completely black, which isn't Ancona, but more a magpie trait.

You could have a look at their undercarriages, but may be best to wait until their voices come in and/or the male tail feather curl/s.

Not much chest markings, though the smatterings in other areas is nice. I like the "walked under a wet paintbrush" head markings they sometimes show.

    Ancona Ducks

I keep the little ones separated from the adults until they can fight for themselves. Also worried about the drakes covering the young ones when they are too young and fragile.

Looks a nice little setup you have there. Good luck with the laying.

Mine were out from July also, but began laying well again in early August. All guns blazing now!!!
