    @BastyPutt @Party_Chicken Are those the saddle feathers coming in on them? Another observation is neither have crowed or tried yet from what I’ve heard. My little 6 week old barred rock rooster tried to crow at Tweety (buff) and he did nothing but flare up.

    5 Week Old Barred Rock Cockerel

    Just wanted to share some pics of this guy. I think he is going to be beautiful. Has anyone seen wattles/comb this big on a 4-5 week old?

    Pics from yesterday and today. Do the wattles (sp) on the white crested come in/turn red later? About 9 1/2 weeks now. I’m so excited to see how this buff turns out. I’m almost wondering if he won’t be more white than buff when he is grown.

    Hello!

    Thanks! He is only 3 weeks old and his comb is that big and red already. I think he is going to be a beautiful guy. He is the first one that I have not had to question if he will be a rooster or not. So far he is sweet as can be so hopefully it stays that way.
