    no probs My old girl has slept outside of the house(still in the run) on a ladder all weathers she’s tough as boots I didn’t want my two new additions copying her hence the new built house In the colder months I will add the bits that cover the mesh making it more cost Cheers

    Hi mate Yep I totally get that It’s just quite funny that my last attempt was not vented enough too dark etc etc Now it’s too draughty etc I live in uk Foxes defo not a prob in my garden In the winter I will cover the meshed areas to stop the draughts Thanks for your input

    Above is the run I built The new coop sits inside the run In 10 years of having chickens I have never had a problem with foxesi like it anyway Too many people on here just picking faults I have guttering on the back of the run taking the water into the raised beds behind the coop

    Ok so my last attempt was pants!!! Lots of nice comments but lots of It’s too small It’s too dark Not enough ventilation etc etc I have started again and come up with this beauty Hopefully will meet my 3 girls requirements!! First pic is attempt 1 Next pics are my new one

    So before I dismantle and start again here are the pics of the inside I have been told it’s too small too narrow too dark etc It’s for 2-3 birds The ramp leads up to the nesting box What’s your thoughts please

    hi the old bird has always been on the ladder The house I made is new for the new chickens The size is 51 inch by 21 inch There is enough room to pass As I made a little ramp to get to the internal nesting box

    Hi You can just about see the perch just inside the entrance It’s not on the floor is is about 10 inches off the floor and they have plenty of headroom to Underneath the perch is a pull out tray so I can clean easy and the nesting box is at the far end of the coop with the two love hearts cut...

    What a great reply I have 2 new birds who the house was made for and one 4 yr old who sleeps on the big ladder and always has I guess I will make a better ladder or ramp leading upto the opening And make more cut outs for more light When I see these eglu Lea
