    Is dirt and sand mixed good for coop run?

    Hi all. Looking for advice on my chicken run substrate. I have dirt and it has been fine. I turn it once or twice a week, but the girls do a great job with that also. I don't pick up the poop, but I wanted to see if adding sand to the dirt is fine? Has anyone tried it?

    NO not one. I checked the temperature in the incubator (It has a temp control and display that I trusted :(. It is a brandnew Manna Pro Harris Farms Nurture Right Incubator- I put in my own thermometer and it read 94 f! I think that was the problem On Day 24 I cracked open each egg.. Not one...
