    Battery-hen awareness

    Have just collected 4 ex battery hens. In a terrible state when they arrived, but it is surprising how quickly the feathers start to grow. Hoping they have a happy retirement !

    Shell less egg

    Our ladies have all laid an egg this morning. We have 4 hens, and 4 eggs. But late evening a shell less egg appeared in garden. Should I be worried ?
