    I am thinking of buying 1 barred rock, 1 EE, 1 buff orpington, 1 buff cochin,1 silkie and 1 RIR as hatching eggs. I am planning on getting all from Dunlap Hatchery and the EE from My pet chicken. If there are any cheaper or better places to get these, please tell me. -AT

    Would this work to balance the pecking order?

    I am planning to get chickens. i am getting 1 Buff orpington, 1 barred rock, 1 silkie, 1 buff cochin,1 RIR and 1 easter egger. I have heard that Buff Orps are docile and are ussually picked on. By having the silkie, which is also not ussualy a pecker, wou,d the sort of leave the two alone? -AT

    I need help! I was piuttiing out food for the squirrels and i saw a helpless bird on the top of a tree. It seems a little large, so it might be an adult that broke its wing, but either way it is stuck and needs help. Should i call anybody? animal control???

    Mute Swan

    Hello! As some people that have visited my thread may know, i am taming a swan! He is a male named rocket. There was a nice brown backed one too. From looking at pictures, i have detirmined he is a mute swan and was actually very calm with me! Any tips would be great! -AT
