    Yes this breed is especially hard to tell for they are around 3 weeks old and with other chick breed you can tell at this age

    I’m not an expert but I would think that the chick might of been deform when still in the egg and about the other chicks pecking it that sometimes happens to the weakest one because I have had that experience before. As I said I’m not an expert it’s just from personal experience.

    We have 4 fertilised eggs being sat on by one of my chikens. I also have 2 other hens in the flock. At the moment the mother hen is sitting on the eggs by herself but when they hatch will they be alright with the other hens?
