I have 3 Silver Sebrights, 2 are 4 weeks old and one is a week old. The little one is too young to sex, but I think the older two are possible. One has a much more prominent comb than the other so I'm thinking I have one boy and one girl. I'm really hoping to have a little rooster! Any...
No idea why it died. We did everything we could and it just got worse and worse. I guess it was just weak. We talked to the breeder we got it from and he agreed. And we got another splash to replace it. :)
I went out around 8:15 to check on our chickens before bed. I went back inside and when I came back at 8:45 there was a soft shelled egg on the ground! That means 2 are laying and I just barely missed seeing who it was.
I think it's a touch lighter irl. It really does look like a robin's egg though!
She laid a 2nd egg today! This one weighed 1.6 ounces. She actually laid it in the nest box this time too. Yesterday she just laud it on the ground and I put it in the nest box for pictures. :p
We got our first BLRW! We got them from a breeder who said he's been working on them for 4 years. They are a week and a half old. Any idea what coloration they will end up being?
Does anyone have any pictures of their blue laced red wyandottes as chicks and then as adults? We just got a couple of chicks and want to try to guess what they may look like later!
We have 2 Black Copper Marans that are about 12 weeks old. One is bigger and it's comb is much bigger too. Is one a roo?
The smaller pullet:
Possible roo?
