Thank you guys!! I just brought them back inside but they weren't happy lol. I've been letting them out almost every day for 3 weeks now, and I think they're def getting a taste for outside. They love it.
My easter egger and buff lace polish are basically fully feathered but my mottled cochin...
My chicks are about 6-7 weeks old and they're getting too big for the inside. My friends chicks are about the same age and he has had them outside for 2 weeks or more now. No problems. It's a lil chilly in Maryland. Supposed to be in the 40's tonight. What should I do?
I figured. Honestly I love tink. He's a grump and bites me a lot, but he loves my easter egger and my Buff laced polish. I don't want to ruin their bond. I'm just afraid of crowing loudly, mating with my hens, etc. I don't know much about mottled's. But I hear they're a noisy breed. It sucks...
This is the best I could get. "Tink" as I'm calling my bantam, isn't the friendliest either. I handle all of my chicks the same and this one always bites me. I'm almost 99.9% sure it's a male, but I would love to be wrong haha.
