I am also doing well. Busy with my crazy flock of attitude but adjusting. We have had a weird, busy winter, adding 2 silkie roosters to our flock of 15 hens along with another rooster so obviously looking to rehome at least 1 of the silkies. So far everyone is getting along just fine together.
My silkie has been sitting on 6 eggs now. We have candled them and are are fertilized and some look pretty ready. My concern and question is it was 9 eggs but she keeps breaking them open. She is in the coop in a nesting box with 12 others but because a couple were trying to get in the nesting...
Thank you so much. I just found them on Amazon and I’m going to give that a try. She’s usually a very sweet hen who loves to be cuddled so this bully behavior she’s displaying isn’t like her at all.
Thank you. I tried it for a day and she came back so mad. I was just concerned I’di removed her for too long I would have another problem getting her back into the flock. I’ll try this again and see how it works out.
