It it usual for emu chicks to have parasites, would they pick them up after they hatch?

Hi, my name is Anne, I live in Dublin, Ireland. I currently have two emu chicks living in my house, one of them is a little poorly, every so often, he gets wobbly and his head flops down and goes under him... just wondering if anyone has an experience of same, any advice welcome.
