I'm so glad it's not just my crazy little flock! It has become part of my bedtime ritual to watch them do the same exact thing! I'm so relieved that this is normal! I spent so much time putting in extra perches and making new accommodations...I should have hopped on this thread sooner! Smh!
So when we received our new guinea's, they were given to us by a neighbor, who brought them in a small coop and they were a bit spooked. The female must have jumped and jumped and was beaten and bloody on her head. It looks painful and she seems so miserable. I haven't seen her eating, she isn't...
Thank you so much! I'm going to need all the help I can get! I've been worried sick over what to do with the eggs since the broody female escaped. I've been reading and reading on this forum, but there is a lot I'm still learning...one place says humidity one says none, then turn the eggs 2 or 3...
I have been coming to this site for about 2 weeks now for advice on my brand new guinea fowls and I finally decided to sign up so I can join in on the conversations. I have a ton of questions...and anxieties. My family is brand new at this whole homesteading thing, but we have been looking...
