Update: it died :hit I eggtopsied it because the heartbeat stopped after I moistened the membrane and I think it drowned itself trying to pip the other way because it was really malpositioned- AnxiousMotherHen

Backwards chick? Day 20 help!
Hi, so it is day 20, and all eggs are pipped and doing good, but one egg is not even internally pipped yet. I peeled the the shell over the air cell, and the chick is still alive, but malpositioned. I don’t know what else to do to help it, because it’s membrane is still very bloody. .HELP!- AnxiousMotherHen

Quitter? First time. Please help!
It looks fine, maybe it internally pipped, which would be a teensy bit early. If so, don't worry, it looks normal. After they internally pip, they are supposed to fill the space a bit more.- AnxiousMotherHen

Hi, just joining in. Another thing to note: pointy end of your egg should face towards the water reservoir in the middle, I see that your eggs are pointing both ways. If the pointy side facing out then when the chicks hatch they might get stuck and you will not be able to see it hatch.- AnxiousMotherHen
