I'm sorry to say that trouble passed away. I think the seizure got to him. I buried him next to his sister. At least they'll rest in peace with each other. Thank you for all of you with all your advice. The next time I'm come across an abandon duckling I have the knowledge to care of one now.
This is trouble, he's gotten worst. He no longer vocalizes or eats. He's only drink the water that I've been giving him now. And when I try to feed him the egg that you suggested he spat it back up. I don't know what to do anymore.... ;-;
Troubles not eating much. He's only drinking water. I'm worried that he might make it. If only I bought the duck feed when we first got them, the other duckling and trouble would be okay..
Yea, I've been trying to fees him but he has no appetite. So far, I've been feeding it to him when he has an episode cause that's when he has his mouth open.
Luckily the little store in the corner did have some duck feed. It was a race against time but I made it in time home. I just have to feed the little guy. Thank you for your advice.
The closest thing I have to worms is fish food. Bloodworms to be exact. There's a little store in the corner that has chickens but I'm not sure if it has duck feed. I'll try my best to get everything though.
It's a bit far and I don't exactly drive. But I think what made him sick was that he eat his own poop a few times. But I'm still not sure about it. He ate plenty of mash carrots and peas every three hours till bed time. Any suggestion would be great for helping trouble.
It's a bit far and I don't exactly drive. I think he got himself sick by eating his own poop. The vet that's near me where I live doesn't specialize in aviary. Any suggestion would be great.
Well, you don't exactly have duck feed in east Los Angeles. But if you can tell me what I can feed him as an alternative that would be awesome. He's doing better, not so much of seizure but he's weak. I'm giving him water and he's drinking it fine.
Hello,
I'm new to this raising ducks thing. My father found two abandon ducklings at his work last week and yesterday the youngest little duckling past away; and we buried her. Now Trouble, the other duckling has fallen ill. he started to have constant seizures last night. And he even tried...
