My hen’s chicks were due yesterday, and two of my favorite hen’s eggs had hatched before the others. Instead of caring for them, she had thrown them out (one fully hatched and one was just about to come out of the shell) I’m scared for her last 4 eggs. Does anyone know why she might be doing...
Today I bought two chicks from the store to put under my hen when her own eggs hatch, I got a buff orpington and a blue laced red wyandotte. I named my orpington Honey Bee, but I’m struggling with a name for my wyandotte, and other names for my chickens chicks might be nice(she is a welsummer...
So my welsummer hen had been sitting for about 4-5 days, but she wasn't eating or drinking, so I took her off the nest and plopped her on the floor. After a couple of minutes I realized her eggs were getting a bit chili, and she was still happily on the ground. I tried to place her back on the...
He was almost fully feathered, so he was outside for the last couple of weeks. We kept him with two other chicks of mine, but they were about three weeks older. I'll tell you all if he's still alive by when I get home, though I doubt my parents listened to me and took care of him like I asked.
Yesterday the chicks wings were all puffed up and he was barely mving and today he wasn’t moving at all and now he is just opening his beak a little. He is inside please help I’m scared he’ll die any moment

My hen started showing signs of being broody, and today she started sitting, but the eggs she’s sitting on are a bit old (some are about a week old and others maybe older). So I was wondering if she could still hatch them, or if I should buy her some knew eggs (though I might not be able too)...
I’m not sure how old it is, but here’s a picture of it standing
Sorry for the mess, this is before I cleaned their place (and these are about to start living outside)
