I'm sorry if my post was confusing. We know he does not have any medical issue that would cause this issue, we have taken him to the vet twice. He has been doing this since we got him, but we got him months before we got the female foster (we've only had her for a couple weeks, we've had him for...
All three boy cats are neutered, by the way. We are also fostering a 7-year-old spayed female, but they have very limited contact with her and Domino had been peeing well before we got her.
I have three cats, one five years old, and 2 kittens that are five and a half months old. My two kittens we got a week apart, (they are not brothers, but they act like it!) and my slightly older kitten wont stop peeing on leather, specifically the leather couch in the living room, although he...
I have four young hens, all of which started laying during the month of July. I have two barred rocks, one rhode island red, and one danish brown leghorn. My leghorn (Bob)'s first egg was a double-yolked egg, which I heard isn't all that uncommon. However, since July, we've gotten about five...
Both the lentils and the first few batches of clover did very well in this setup. I soaked some radish seeds this morning and punched some more holes in my cake tin. Hopefully it is just that it needs better drainage.
I grow sprouts for my four hens to eat and pull at, but recently most of the clover seeds wont sprout. Before I was using lentils, and those worked great, and even when I started using clover it was fine. It has just been these last few batches where like 80% of the seeds wont even germinate...
Thanks for posting! I am grateful in your interest in Red! However, a close friend of ours has offered to have him. A couple hours ago she told us she was willing to take him. Good luck in your search!
I am so sorry you had to give away your roosters! I can relate, unfortunately. I, too, live in Los Gatos and have a rooster which is causing too much noise. He is a rhode island red and despite their reputation, he is extremely sweet. Do you think the boys' home you mentioned would be interested...
Red is a 4-5 month old Rhode Island Red rooster. We were trying really hard to keep him because he is by far the nicest rooster I have ever met and he comes when he is called. However, he has started to crow, and since we just moved in to our house after almost a year of renovations we don't...
Thank you so much for the information! I will probably move them tonight, the coop is warmer than my garage without a radiator so I think they will be fine.
Hi! I have five chicks that are six to seven weeks old. Two of them are Rhode Island Reds, two are Barred Rocks, and one is a Danish Brown Leghorn. They are my first and only chickens, but I have a coop set up and ready to go for them outside in the yard. The past two weeks I've been taking all...
