    Thank you so much for sharing the post about how they changed their local rules! I admit it seems quite daunting to get an ordinance changed, but honestly... probably easier and cheaper than moving sooner than we had planned. So I will give this a good read-through and see if I feel up to it...

    Haha, I'd be willing to consider that if we had the space, but we definitely don't. No basement here, and I'd want one to keep the cats away. Just another mark in the "reasons to move" column!

    Thanks so much for the idea, but unfortunately it looks like our township is bound and determined to not let me have any fun :( Type III animals require the 1.5 acres + 1/4 per additional that I mentioned in my intro, aaaannd... :idunno
