So I'm thinking about moving my chicks outside with their own run and outdoor play area. Can they perch yet? They are about 5-6 weeks old and have their wing feathers and some of them are light breed and fly well but I do have some heavier breeds like buff orpingtons wyandottes and delawares...

I have a 3-4 month old blue Orpington that has a shut eye that kind of crusted over. I'm not sure if it's a injury or a disease. He isn't sneezing or wheezing at all so I don't think it's a disease but I just wanted to hear others opinions

Why do they say to keep chickens away from waterfowl? Does that mean like wild waterfowl or domestic waterfowl too?
