    Well at the start ot the incubation, there were 17 but 1 was too fresh, did not develop and 3 quit along the way so in day 25 we went with 13 in lockdown, so it's still room for improvement. Yesterday was nice and warm outside so they got some vitamin D 😄

    No progress after internal pip

    I found it difficult using a screw, I managed easily with a small 2mm drill bit from a Makita tool kit (it had even smaller ones in the kit), disinfected it with alcohol before the procedure, of course.

    I know this is an old thread and there are a bunch of these regarding niacin. Is this one good? People are complaining that it is too strong, flushing etc. so, it must be plain Niacin. The problem is that at what dosage should be given to goslings if one capsule has 500mg?

    Ok, so the most impatient one hatched after 36 hours since the first pip. The zip was done rather quickly in less than an hour. Hopefully the rest will follow, now that they can hear him. 😄
