We use no medicated feed on our farm. It is difficult to find nonmedicated feed for chicks so we use growth and plumage for game birds. All of our fowl have always done fine with out medicated feed or any other medicines...period. Last time I checked the US doesn't require corn or soybeans...

It is 28 days for turkey eggs. By the pictures the one looks like a bronze and the other poult could be anything from a royal palm, burbon red, or white. Have fun and enjoy. Got to love those turkeys.

You can wait up to 14 days and still get a decent hatch. Be aware though, the longer you wait the lower the rate............most likely. (Something like kids, as soon as you say one thing they do the otherr:)) Like the sound of the cool basement floor.....have you been tipping the eggs...

I like to give them plenty of water for a day or two and no food. It makes for a much cleaner job, if you have the time.
