    Cornish X broilers and sand in the coop

    I get my sand at Lowe's. It by the bags of quik-crete. Its actually quik-crete brand and it's in a clear bag and says play sand on the front of it!

    I'm getting 5 silkies, 10 meaties, and 1 dark cornish roo... Who knows what else I'll bring home! I already have 2 barred rocks, 2 RIR, and 2 New Hampshires that are 2 weeks old!

    Picking up at least 16 chicks tomorrow from Meyer... We are under a winter storm warning, so the 1.5 hour drive may be interesting! This will be my first trip to Meyer Hatchery, super excited!!! will definitely be posting pictures once we are home and settled in!

    What is the biggest breed of chicken that you know of?

    I have always been told that the largest chicken breed is the Jersey Giant, which comes in black and white! Hope this helps
