    So quick update... Sorry I didn't get pictures posted, things got a little busy here. Jay went to the vet today. They can't find any reason why her wing is being held oddly or why she is limping. No broken bones, unable to find any wounds, stated in regards to her wing that her muscles were...

    This girl is unfortunately a repeat offender on bumble foot, but definitely not the case this time. Today she is actually not wanting to walk much at all, and the leg feels pretty warm. Her leg was fine yesterday morning.

    Hey guys, So my pekin duck seems to be holding her wing differently. It almost appears as if she is holding it higher on her back. It’s not drooping and she can still flap it. I have felt the bones and it doesn’t feel like anything is broken but it does feel slightly different than her other...

    Went to the specialist yesterday. She said no chance of recovery...possible brain lesion...so she had to be euthanized

    Still the same, no physical change. Only difference is she is talking again. She had been pretty silent the last 2 days.

    I did...and this morning I had no problem...I’m afraid to put her in water...she can’t hold her head up much.

    Yea i tried keeping her wrapped....the muscle contractions are just so strong...and she was fighting the feeding tube itself...kept biting and snapping...you’d think if she didn’t want the tube that much she’d eat...but no luck there either.

    None yet...she fought me tooth and nail last night to get fed...but she still won’t eat on her own. She has an appointment with a specialist on Thursday...we’ll see if he thinks she’ll come around or if we’ll have to put her down.

    Oh yes I’ve been there done that. When you try to sit her up on her feet she really spasms...so it’s difficult to get her to lay on her belly..it definitely takes time and patience.

    Unless it’s from the nerve being pinched I’m not sure...if she doesn’t show improvement later in the week I’m going to take her back...but I figured I better give the steroids some time to work.

    I tried the towel, I tried her in a box with a towel...when she has the muscle contractions it flips her over backwards over top of everything...trust me I’ve tried!
