    This little rooster keeps coming to visit mine. I can't shoo him away but he is super cute. I just want to know what he is. He hangs out with a Sage Gem twice his size lol The big one is my Asain Black.

    We will try to find something on short notice but we both work full time and planned on getting the eglus set up Tuesday when we start our vacation. We cant get a refund that fast.

    I got 2 of these with predator proof attached runs. I only have 2 orpingtons the others are all smaller with about 3.5-5 lbs max weights.

    My concern isn't really the coops. I checked around before buying a second one and many chicken owners see no problem with their flocks having multiple coops. I just want to know how to transition them safely and effectively to the coops.

    I have 2 coops because I ended up with more chicks than anticipated so I had to get a second one. I cant afford a larger coop at this point. The run connects the coops so they will only sleep separately.

    Update: She did not make it. She passed earlier today. It is mine and my husband's first loss, but we will get through and maybe stay away from shipping chicks for a while. Thank you everyone for your support and advice.

    She hasn't likely had much today. I'm starting to believe she may be blind as I found someone else's post with the exact same story and their chick turned out to be blind. I have a lot of research to do to make sure she has a real chance.
