Thanks! I don't have it in my hand yet. I just agreed to buy it locally off of FB Marketplace. I'll have it in hand by Thursday. I thought Japanese Bantam as well... the blending of the black & white feathers threw me off. I know it was a yard bird in east Texas. :)
