What Chicken Breeds Would Be Best?
Are there any breeds that can not deal with some rain? Here it tends to be drizzly (esp in fall and spring) and I don't want my chickens to be miserable.- atb9454

Right now my possible list includes Australorps, Sex links, Brahmas, Barred Rocks, and Silkies... I would not be getting all of them, but do these sound good?- atb9454

Clarification on the rules In my area...
So, I live in an area where the local rule says that backyard chicken coops have to be at least 10 feet from an existing structure. It sounds like this is referring to a house, but the best area for a coop in our yard is under 10 feet from a shed... Is this okay?- atb9454

Cold chickens.....when to use heat lamp?
Be really careful when setting up the heat lamp... a friend's fell because their all hens liked sitting on it and their chicken coop caught on fire!- atb9454

MY DUCKS LEG IS BROKEN!!!
You should probably take her to the vet, they'll know what to do if it's getting worse. I don't have a duck so I can't give any real advice... good luck! -
