Update: For several weeks the store owner kept talking about the sweet "girl" that I gave her. But just last week, she finally admitted it was a rooster after all!
No bubbles or respiratory symptoms. She has a good appetite. Because of the bumps on the eyelids (one now and one previously), I thought it could be Marek's but I really don't know what it is. I will try the saline and neosporin.
My White Rock pullet has been having eye issues. She is now 12 weeks old and it started 6 weeks ago with a bump on the inner corner of her eyelid. It cleared up in about 2 weeks, and then about a week later she got another bump on the upper eyelid. Then yesterday, her whole eye started...
Glad you feel it is a cockerel. I was so sure that it was a he that I took him back to the store to be re-homed. The store owner and her assistant said she is a really sweet girl, and the owner took "her" home. My remaining two white rocks still have little to no combs/wattles at 8 weeks old.
I bought 6 pullets, but I think one of them is a cockerel. Let me know if the one with the big comb is a boy or a girl.
First pic is 6 weeks old, Second pic is a 6 week old pullet for comparison, third pic is at 5 weeks
