I have had chickens for 2 years and this is the first year i have had a broody hen. I dont understand why people want to break this habit, is it a bad thing? I have not. had any problems with my broody.
I have a nipple feeder and my girls took right to it. It should have red plastic right over the nipples and chickens are attracted to red but make sure you keep both waterer until they adjust to nipple one. Have fun with those little ones
I have had 11 chickens for about a year, different breeds are more friendly than others. I leave them out about a hour and a half until sunset when they will start milling around the entrance to their coop ,I throw some treats in and they all go in because they like them and are ready for bed
