    Oh no... another one of my SLW hens has gone broody. I already have 10 eggs under my other SLW hen (due 14th Sept), and 29 eggs in the incubator (due 21st Sept). I think I will try and get my new broody to hold on until my eggs in the incubator hatch out, then I will slip some chicks under her...

    Hi everyone, I'm so glad to find this thread! I am addicted to incubating! I currently have 12 BBS Orpington eggs under my SLW broody (due 14th Sept) and in my incubator I have 24 BBS Orpington and 5 SLW eggs (due 21st Sept). It is so exciting, I can't wait for them to hatch!!
