- Because I am a newbie to raising chickens. I am 1 of 4 kids and its my job to look after the chickens. Tinsel, drumstick, hazel. I want to be a wide life carer when I grow up. I have looked after Dogs, cats, rats, fish. Yet when I got chickens they have stumped me. And I am a huge bee nerd! I love animals, I sprained my ankle by jumping my neighbours fence to rescue a house sparrow my cat got.. it didn't survive..): It killed me when I had to give away my 3 roosters berry, nugget & tiny.
