Yes they are on layer feed and have oyster shell and they forage quite a bit. They are 22 weeks old. Currently getting 3-5 eggs a day from 8 hens. Just keep finding the paper shell under the roost in the morning.

Looks like you are using a section of fence rail, I think diameter is too small and it is slick ( too hard for them to stay on) I prefer taking 2x4s and ripping them to about 2-1/4 inches wide and rounding the edges over to make more comfortable for the birds.
