    Natural cat litter in coop?

I would imagine they would shred and eat that and unless it could be powerwashed daily, it would hold poo.

    Natural cat litter in coop?

I just find it hard to believe that there isn't at least a dust free bedding option. There is a fan running 24/7, 2 windows and a door that I leave open when I can. They have always used the ramp fine, but I did lower it from the original height. The ridge cap is also completely open from one...

    Natural cat litter in coop?

I mix it in the dust bath, but it is pretty dusty and very expensive-I don't think it would improve dust or cost?

    Natural cat litter in coop?

No. The worlds best litter says it is 100% natural corn and even the scented is 100% natural it says? There is also clay litter that is supposed to be 100% natural, just wondering if it would be safe?

    Natural cat litter in coop?

I have used some that might be ok if changed at least once a week, but we like to go in and sit with them and wood shavings stick to everything (clothes wise) and is hard to get off. It also isn't as easy to sift-I use a kitty litter scoop with the coffee or sand.

I used it on my poop board before. It definitely was great for smell but very dusty.

No, they have a run...only a couple seem to hang out inside. The rest only come in to lay eggs.

I drove 3 hrs three different trips to get enough to switch from sand to coffee and it's been 2 months or less and there is now black...

Do you use coffee grounds as bedding? I'd love to hear your experience with it!

I am also looking for a less dust option. I just spent a lot of time and money switching to coffee and I am not a fan. I drove 3 hrs three different trips to get enough to switch from sand to coffee and it's been 2 months or less and there is now black dust on everything, my chickens look...
