    I would LOVE to, but to go from 4 acres to about 10 acres (which is the next spot I can dam on the property) is almost $40K. Would make for a great pond! Honestly, there is clearly not "easy fix" so I am probably just going to let bygones be bygones and hope what you are saying about it...

    Cockerel or pullet?

    The special-egg mixed breeds can have some wonky features about them. I assume by green egg, you mean olive egger because those are not EE's. So given all that, I'd say you need to wait and see because it could well be a pullet with a wonky comb. You'll know in a few weeks to a month for sure.
