    Is my chick trying to crow???

    Hi I have 9 mixed breed chicks that are now 3 weeks old! Today I noticed my barnvelder chick stretching out its neck opening its beak but no sound coming out. It did this about 6 times in a row! Could this be a sign that it's a roo? Or is this just something chickens do some times.

    Thats my sliver laced polish, if you are refering to her odd posture its just the way the camera caught her as she went down to feed, if you are reffering to her scruffyness its just where she is loosing her down ill add a pic of her later and youll see she actually dosen't look that strange...
