    I was given 6 chicks from a back yard egg chicken raiser.... These are the 3 I kept in hopes of girls, not 100% on the breed.     First lay gone wrong....Help!

    Eeeeek!I just had to assist my EE in laying her first egg! I walked in and she was oddly settled down, her bum was all pushed out, egg and more! I gently assisted rotating the egg and helped her stretch a bit. Is she going to be ok?

    My EE I thought hated me, but after 20 weeks, she started to come around, independent till ready to lay, now I can let her, and pick her up no problem... Hopefully will get a egg any day now

    The pic really dosent show them off well.... We go to Mexico often and see free ranging chickens all over, EE's they are so tiny compared to my girls, feathers are so soft and full, and shiny.... My girls are getting very big too, I think they are happy, now if only they would lay and make me...

    Here is Rodgerick, Rodge for short, and Sunny..... I hope Rodge gives us pritty eggs, cause she is a turd! Lol never leaves the coop when she needs too, dosent fallow.... Has her own agenda...But we love how eagle like she looks Sunny is a good girl, as long as Rodge is contained she will go...
