    HELP in deciding on a duck breed....SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM

    How about swedish. I only have one duck, a blue swedish drake. He is friendly ,tries to make friends with everything, loves foraging, very hardy, doesnt fly only tries, and the ducks are supposed to set. They are also on the watch lish and are so beautiful.

    My swedish drake started out sounding like a duck. Also he was smaller than the pekin I got with him . Although I dont know what sex the pekin was as it died when it was 4 weeks old. ( darn weird May weather in WI)

    so sorry to hear about your dog. Hope he's feeling better. I think the neighbor should have shot a warning shot first. I have had rabbits killed by strays (this neighbor let her dogs run for weeks) but also know even with invisible fences, fences, leashes, kennels, and what have you...

    You're not alone. I also have a 7 month old red star hen thaT always attacks when I go in the coop. I thought I'd have to maybe worry about the rooster but he's great. I'll have to try the holding technique to.
