Both are 15 weeks old. One is a White Frizzled and the other is a White non frizzled. Both came from Ideal in a frizzle order. No delivery or shipping. They are free. Pick up is in Richlands, NC.
I agree. It's a girl. I have 12 frizzle Cochins that are 7 weeks old and it was pretty easy to tell at about 3 weeks. One of my roos tried to crow this morning!.

She is doing great. Only took her a couple of days to let the BR's know who is boss. Being spoiled as should be. She will be getting some friends her size this spring.
Here is another pic of the chicken in question. What does it mean if it does have a beard and or muff (it looks to have both)? Is that more of a breed characteristic or does it mean it is a roo.
There is a spot on the beak where it looks like the comb should start. I just don't see any comb at all. It gets along well with the others even though they are at least twice its size. It will sometimes peck at them but it looks like it is pecking at the white on their feathers. The BR's...
One of my sisters friend was driving and saw a cat hauling it down the road and stopped and grabbed it. Gave it to my sister to watch after and find it a home. So now I have it. It has four toes. It is really soft and makes a cricket noise(trill) when you hold her. The wife loves it...
Well, I got a good look at this little thing. Its comb is gone and about half of the neck feathers. It sure is a feisty little thing. Not scared of the BR's at all.
