    how many years do you keep your egg layers?

    I replace my hens every year. We get new chick in the spring then in the fall I butch all old hens. We canned some last year and it was very good.

    the week of FEB 12 I sold 22 dozen at 2.00 total of 44.00 the week of FEB 19 I sold 12 dozen at 2.00 total of 24.00 the week of FEB 26 I sold 13 dozen at 2.00 total of 26.00 than today i sold 5 dozen at 2.00 total of 10.00 so i have had a good month:D

    I have 60 chickens not all are laying yet. We have leghorns, isa browns , rir, buff, easter eggs, polish, and turkens. We show them in 4-H and open class at the fair.
