Well Idk, about other nations, but in India, all we gotta do to make big and bad roosters and hens , is to keep them in the brooder till around a month if the chicks mature at 3 months and 2 months if the chick matures at 6 month :), hope that helps.

Theirs no real way to tell what color they will grow up to be, like my chicks were a crossbreed of vanaraj and kadaknath (country chickens) and one of them was black, and it became a totally different chicken with brown feathers and zero traits of black, though i don't have pictures of her...
