Hey all, my name is Leah! I currently have eight Barred Rock hens, and one White-crested duck that I rescued. I’ve had my girls for about three years now, so I’m fairly new to the chicken community. I love everything about raising chickens; from having fresh eggs every morning, to collecting the poo for the garden. Not to mention their adorable little noises. My family and I are planning on moving to some acreage this year so we can live a healthy lifestyle and raise more animals. In my free time, I sit in the sun with my girls and spoil them with dried mealworms and chin scratches. I also like birdwatching, and just sitting outside enjoying nature.
