Yes , I can see more chicks in the future!!! I'm enjoying them soooooo much! My Louise ( Maran ) just started laying my first eggs... 3 in 4 days this week!!!!! I've waited 5 long months , they (the eggs) are SOOOOOOO beautiful !!!

LOL... I'm texting my brother to let him know ... that I need another smaller coop & run built, especially since he had soooo much fun building the first... eek!!! afraid he's gonna block my number...

Thanks,,, I have them in a coop & run but let them out in the evenings... I love to hear the rooster crow, so I'm really torn about getting rid of him... ??????????

Hello from Alabama!!!!!!!!!! Lovin this October weather!!!

I'm in Alabama and need to ask a question... I have 4 hens & one rooster (Dominecque),,, they are all 5 months old. My rooster pecks on my quiet & shy little Silkie- Blanche. My dad says he will grow out of it, some people say he won't... Whats everyone's opionion ???????? My little Silkie trys...

Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is sooooooo funny! Sounds just like my "Thelma" when she/he was first learning to crow, she's/he's a expert now. He's just 4 months old... Such a sweet sound in the mornings & evenings.

I'm not sure if I should get baby chick still in down feathers or if I should get adolescent chicks... What do y'all think?

I Have found a breeder close by and they have All kinds. He says he has some Ameracauna babies, but only has the 1 hen & 1 Rooster of this type so only a few babies. :-) I'm soooooo excited !!!!!!!!

so are the smaller chicks (like the cochins) able to stay in with the bigger chicks (like the Ameracauna) ?

Scouting out my options for hmmm 3 or 4 chicks. Anyone got any suggestions they want to give a New Chick mommy??? I've been looking & studying up on them and also coops...
