You could be correct. This chicken was never vaccinated since he was hatched in a local school classroom. I went out and photographed his blackening comb. Also, I photographed his eye since Marek's seems to grey out the eye.... doesn't seem to be grey yet.

We had twins hatch out of one egg recently. They both lived, but were VERY deformed. Each of them had misshapen legs and could barely walk. There was not enough room in the egg for both of them to fully develop. :(
Well, we ended up removing the dead toe part. The chicken didn't even notice. We cleaned it really well, bandaged it up, and put some electrolytes and antibiotic in the water. She seems to like having the run of the garage. There is also another chicken in there to keep her company.
