Bantam chooks

We have owned Pekin Bantams for 5+ years, our original and oldest is Nugget, she's nearly 6 and she's the best. We currently have Nugget, Kiev and 2 chicks Dapple and Dottie as well as a load other bunch of animals that aren't chickens. We keep Bantams as they're good in our small garden and as we live in the suburbs we can't keep a cockrel or too many chickens due to noise. We used to have 2 Welsummers - Cuddles and Maple but they were too loud so had to go (they went back to a family member where we got them so it was ok) We then got Popcorn and Coco, 2 Pekin bantams and they joined Nugget for some good years before they sadly past away a year apart, then we gave Nugget some fertile eggs and hatched out 3 chicks including Kiev, so she got to stay. Then early 2020 we got Dapple and Dottie and they'll stay forever.
There is so so so much more to the story behind these girls but we'll both be here for a long time.
