    This was the first year I didn't see any 'red patches' bleeding though. Some of the roos still had a straw coloration on the hackles, but several keepers were snowy white.

    Yes, I used silver penciled rocks. I would agree, some of the young hens in the pictures are a little long and lean. Other hens in the group are a little closer to form. I will be sure to consider this in my selection process. Cheers, - Al
