So yesterday I noticed that my hen had laid another egg, but when I checked the nest box this morning she had two, when yesterday there'd been three. I'm getting ready to go out and change the bedding. I also noticed that there was yolk on the outside of one of the eggs, so i'm pretty sure that...
This is the best picture I have of her standing up, I'm in a heat streak right now where I live so other than putting ice cubes and fresh water in her coop I'm really trying not to disturb her too much.
I'm pretty sure she's a old english game bantam hen. She'd been exposed to a rooster but I haven't candled the eggs lately. Been leaving the nest alone in case she goes back to being broody after a 8 hour drive, hoping she hatches them. I've been meaning to find some other bantams just in case...
She's almost entirely in the shade and I made sure she has plenty of water. I filled one of those big dog bowls with it.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
One , but...
My Grandfather gave me this little Bantam Hen, the only thing he could call her was a "Banty" I have her in a coop by herself right now. She's laid...2 eggs, but was exposed to a black rooster (probably another Old English Game) and I think if any of the eggs hatch later I should get more blues...
