    The Sussex thread!

    Hi everyone!!! I have a trio of Speckled Sussex bantams and they are absolutely amazing!!! I have a question tho, have any of ya'll had problems with the growing of the hackles on the roosters? Because my rooster has something wierd going on with his neck feathers and they aren't growing...

    Aww poor dominique :( I agree with the langshans, actually. The problem I had with mine was that she didn't lay eggs very often and when she did, there was problems with the shells... And the rooster randomly died of a unknown cause... Yeah, my dominique Pepper went broody last year, she...

    I used to have langshans too...but they didn't lay well and ended up dying off....poor birdies

    I would say she's a lavender... because blues have darker lacing around each feather... She could be a possible cross between a buff and a lavender...idk I'd say lavender instead of blue tho

    Here's my buff Orpington Cheerio :) she's a sweetie I have two buff Orpington hens at the moment and both are very sweet :)

    Wow I forgot the pair of bantam dominiques I have....oops...so I have 6 dominiques at the moment...hopefully get a few more this week too!!!! :D :) I swear, smiling is contagious when you spend time with your chickens :)

    Hi everyone!!! I have 4 dominiques at the moment and am planning to get a few more this week!!! :D Here's a picture of my rooster, Charles: We actually have 3 dominiques roosters and 1 female at the moment...oops... We are hoping to get a few hens from our neighbours tho :)

    Ummm some sort of game bantam or d'Anver for the brown one not sure tho of the white one- I'll look it up in my standard of perfection quickly
