My chickens catch them, run around with them as the other chickens try to get it away from the “catcher,” then the last one to wind up with the mouse swallows it whole. It freaked me out the first time I saw it but I have come to realize they are happy and got some mouse meat😀😀
I have lost several chickens over the last six weeks and am pretty sure it is a weasel killing them at night. I am trying to shore up my chicken house. It is really sad to see my babies lying there half eaten😡
