We got 2 chicks a week ago this past Friday, Lucy and Ethyl. We were told they were a day old. Ethyl is getting way more feathers than lucy. Lucy is much more vocal and gets into things more. THey both are active and fun to watch. Any idea why one has so many feathers than the other?
That was our argument. It's just like the dog license. You expect people to be honest, report they have a dog and if there is a problem or nuisance then someone will call the police and complain. Police investigate and ticket, report, etc. Exactly the same.

Did you ever get this figured out. I live in Richfield WI and have wanted chickens for years. I was going to work on changing zoning laws bwecause what I understood is that you need 10 acers because chickens are concidered livestock. Please let me know how things worked out for you.
