    Last week my Marans cockerel went to the farm and was exchanged for what are supposed to be 2 white leghorn pullets. The first pic is at 2 1/2 weeks and the second at 1 1/2 weeks. What do you think?

    Well, what a difference a few days make. Definite saddle feathers developing. Claude is off to the farm today. Thanks everyone for your help.

    Thanks for your input. I really hope it is female. It is about the same size as my Buff Orpington pullers of the same age, no upright posture and non dominant or aggressive. It was totally black at 2 weeks. However, that comb and wattles came in very early! I would love to see pics of your hen xish.
