Question on Brassiness in Splash Jersey Giants (BBS Breeding)
My experience lies in BBS and Self Blues bantam Cochins. What most breeders call "brassiness" is more of an environmental effect than leakage, which is genetic. Brassiness can be caused by exposure to too much sunlight, and/or corn in the diet, and in my experience shows up as a sun bleached...- BarSevensBantams
