    Chicken squats

    My 5 yr old Astrolorp has begun to squat while out in the run. She can walk to the feeder and waterer, but squats as soon as she reaches her destination. Also, she no longer climbs up the ramp in the coop to reach the roost. She squats on the floor of the coop. Any ideas?

    So far everyone else looks fine. We're keeping close watch. The odd egg makes think that your theory is right. Sad. We will miss Henrietta. The feed store gave her to us as a chick for free because they didn't think she'd make thru the week. She showed them!
